Welcome to the site of Hlavensky from Germany. We hope you will enjoy our results of research in the past. It is not easy to find the traces when the places where you came from is destroyed in WW2, and all the documents and hints are lost. Many near relatives died in WW2, so I had no chance to ask them. Thanks to all who helped me to get the information I need. It was neccesary to travel and it will be further. But you meet a lot of people on the way. That is very pleasent. Our Top-Ancestor Frantisek Hlavensky lived and served near Melnik Bohemia and was mrried with Marie Wirt. He served as a foresterfor the duke of Melnik. Their Son Johann Hlavensky was born in Mark Bischitz near Melnik in Bohemia , now Czech. He married Maria Schlambor from Münchengrätz, also Bohemia. He was a forester and served at Chateau Moritzburg, near Dresden and in Schlenzer Provinz Brandenburg. They had three sons: Rudolf, Berthold and Karl. All of them became forester. Descendants of Berthold lives in the USA and descendants of Rudolf in Brazil. At the moment. best proofed leaf is the name “Feuerstack” based on documents, memories and handwritten material from several people. Missing links are in the names: Hlavensky, Bauman, Gnerlich, Wudtke, Daluge (Dalluge, Dalluege), Mund, Schlambor. Most of them cames from Silesia, Bohemia and former Prussia. May be some are dead ends. But we will try to find the traces. I know that we have relatives in the States and in Brazil, and I hope that they are willing to cooparate.
